| Wow. Xanga. Haven't thought about this thing in a long time. I figured for posterity's sake, I would share a few things. I suppose the most important thing that has happened since we last met, dearest xanga, is Rush and I got engaged! We're pumped. I get more excited every day. I can't wait until this September, because then we'll finally be one year away from the wedding! My ring is an antique-style with lots of filigree (I didn't know that word before I started looking at rings but I loooove filigree) and an emerald! I adore my diamond-less engagement ring. It's perfect.
I've been to or read about about a thousand weddings too. Some friends and I were talking about how, statistically, half of them won't last. First of all, I hope it's not true but realistically, I wonder who it will be...
I'm still loving my mac. He's fabulous. Oh! Next big thing! The Hoppes/Hoppe-McQueens are now proud owners of three Welsh Corgi puppies. Katie and Noah bought their little Ein, and not long after mommy and daddy bought Gustav Holst (we just call him Gustav), and Schnitzel! They're adorable, albeit annoying.
This summer I did both weeks of kid's camp at Samford (love) and I'm working at First Baptist Church day care. Children everywhere! It's fun. For now.
Okay, there's probably more I should write about, like the fact that Cinderella was a RIDICULOUS experience but I was very proud of the work I did as Fairy Godmother. Maybe I'll post again Christmas break. Not like anyone reads this anyway. |

| mmmmmmmmmmmm i love my mac 
in other news, the insomnia gets worse and worse every night. but at least i'm getting work done! good thing top model goes off after 3am. i'll be back in birmingham on sunday so maybe i'll be able to sleep in my apartment. probably.
some of the work i've gotten done during m'late nights includes personal stuff. such as making playlists. they're wonderful. i love them. i have made 11 playlists and stolen 4 cd's worth of music from my sister. HURRAH!!
i feel kinda ill. why could this be... eating 3 donuts in an hour span? staring at a computer screen for hours? drinking 2 glasses of sweet tea after midnight? listening to the same music over and over to perfect my playlists' flow? being awake at 5:30?
probably just hypochondria. i'm out.
oh, and juno was a really awesome movie. okay bye. |

| so i've been thinking about the show charm school on vh1. i think that the best girl, the one who isn't as much in need of charm school should go home the first week with the biggest amount of money. next week, whoever did the best on the challenge goes home with the second biggest amount of money. next week, next best, third biggest amount of money. that way, they still have a huge incentive to try hard to be good people AND if they're notttt being good people, they have to stick around and learn more. why don't people ask me about things like this before they make such a show? ridiculous. national treasure 2 = wonderful. loved it. not as good as the first. i want to see juno. and sweeeney. for christmas i got a freaking mac laptop! i'm flipping out man!! it's soooo awesome i can't wait to useee it :) crunchwarp extravaganza was tonight. it was pretty wonderful. i love getting together with those people. love it. last week i had smooothie night at the casa. i also quite love getting with THOSE people. lovely. girl's nights are so hardcore amazing. so kevin debrow got here today. very nice to have him back. today, well, technically yesterday, is our 15-month. hip hip hooray! i want to dye my hair LOVE!! |
